Drawing
Not possessing a cello, my son posed as best he could for this drawing. Even now I look at it and think: What a good bow hold!
One day, by chance, my partner saw a leaflet announcing the start of a Senior Strings group for beginners and wanted to have a go. I decided this was my opportunity to try the cello. A few years on we are doing our best, but it is an enormous challenge. Amazingly one of my teachers just happens to have been one of the students from that Tortelier masterclass!
