Drawings
There was a period of some years when I met regularly with a friend to visit exhibitions or go somewhere to draw. In summer, it might be in a park or along the river and in winter, we drew from paintings in museums or, as here, in a café. This pastel was developed from sketches made while looking out onto the garden at the Hampstead Arts Centre.
