Recent Paintings
There is a small Armenian community in Jerusalem with a museum devoted to their culture and history, including the genocide of around 1.5 million Armenians in Turkey who were murdered before, during and after the 1st World War.
This painting and the next were based on memories and a couple of photographs taken during a visit to Jerusalem in 2007.
