This pot is totally useless as the lid is very delicate!
The figures were created by painting them in wax on the unglazed bisque fired pot so the yellow glaze wouldn’t stick to that area. Anything that is not glazed comes out black because the clay has absorbed the smoke. The yellow crazing is caused by plunging the hot pot into cold water.
